À propos de cette excursion
Discover the story behind one of Costa Rica's most famous exports on this Poás Coffee Plantation Tour. Set among the beautiful coffee-growing landscapes near Poás Volcano, this guided experience takes you through the journey of Costa Rican coffee from seed to cup.
Learn about coffee cultivation, harvesting, processing, and production while exploring a working coffee plantation. One of the highlights is a historic wet mill, recognized as National Heritage and described by the estate as the oldest operating wet mill in Costa Rica.
The experience goes beyond the coffee fields with a cold coffee welcome cocktail, guided coffee experience, unlimited coffee tasting during the tour, and opportunities to sample coffee liqueurs and coffee chocolates. Your visit also includes access to a butterfly garden, bonsai exhibition, and hydroponic garden.
