Who is Allen ACEDO, founder of Create Your Energy?
Allen Acedo is a seasoned performance and wellness coach with over 15 years of experience helping people build strength, resilience, and lasting confidence through intentional training and healthy lifestyle habits. His background spans boutique fitness leadership, private coaching, and developing high-energy wellness programs that blend strength, conditioning, and meaningful behavioral change.
Allen’s approach extends beyond workouts, emphasizing the connection between mind and body to create sustainable routines that support both performance and lifelong health. As the founder of Create Your Energy, he brings together movement, mindfulness, and community to create experiences that challenge and ignite a deeper connection to life. Rooted in self-empowerment, personal growth, and purposeful living, his coaching and retreats create space for people to realign, grow, and step forward with greater clarity, strength, and energy.
Movement. Adventure. Connection.
The CYE Momentum Retreat is built for those who thrive when they move, explore, and grow alongside others. It’s designed for individuals who value health, adventure, and meaningful connection — and who understand that momentum is something you create through action.
Throughout the week, structured training sessions anchor each day. Expect functional workouts, guided runs, mobility sessions, and yoga designed to enhance strength, endurance, and resilience. The focus isn’t intensity for the sake of intensity — it’s smart, sustainable movement that translates into everyday life.
Beyond the training, the environment plays a key role. Costa Rica’s rainforest and coastline become part of the experience — from waterfall swims and coastal hikes to relaxed beach afternoons and poolside recovery. The schedule flows with intention, balancing challenge and recovery, structure and spontaneity.
Workshops and guided conversations create space for reflection and recalibration. These sessions are practical and forward-focused, helping you refine habits, clarify priorities, and strengthen the mindset needed to maintain progress long after the retreat ends.
What truly defines CYE is the collective energy.
Shared meals, shared effort, and shared adventure naturally transform individuals into a cohesive group. There is freedom throughout the week, but the power of the experience comes from moving together and supporting one another.
Led by experienced coaches who practice what they teach, the retreat is grounded, real, and action-oriented.
CYE Momentum isn’t about stepping away from life —
it’s about stepping back into it with strength, clarity, and sustained momentum.

Sample Day at the CYE Momentum Retreat
(This sample schedule should give you an idea of what to expect, but it will change here and there)
Morning | Wake, Move, Energize
We begin the day early, embracing the calm and magic of the Costa Rican morning. You’ll start with a gentle sunrise practice—this may be yoga, meditation, a guided run, sound bath, or an optional workout, depending on the day and location.
Afterward, enjoy a small, vitamin-rich health juice shot, followed by contrast therapy (cold plunge & heat) and a relaxed social breakfast. This morning flow is designed to awaken the body, clear the mind, and set a grounded tone for the day ahead.
Late Morning – Afternoon | Adventure & Exploration
Late mornings are dedicated to adventure and connection with nature. Depending on the day, we may head out for:
-
Waterfall hikes and swims
-
Beach days with time to relax, play, or snorkel
-
National park visits
-
Cove excursions
Lunch is typically enjoyed later in the afternoon—either a picnic in nature, a traditional Costa Rican meal at a local restaurant, or back at Villas Jacquelina. After returning, there’s time to rest, journal, connect with others, or simply relax.
Evening | Integration & Connection
As the sun begins to set, we gather for a grounding evening practice, such as yin yoga, meditation, sound healing, cacao ceremony, or sculpt-style movement. These sessions help integrate the day’s experiences and bring the nervous system into balance.
Evenings may include community dinners, movie nights, beach bonfires, or relaxed social time. There’s no pressure—everything is optional, and you’re always encouraged to honor your own energy.
Night | Rest & Restore
The day winds down naturally, allowing space for deep rest and reflection. Surrounded by jungle sounds and fresh air, you’ll head to bed feeling nourished, connected, and ready for the next day’s journey.
Location information
During this 6-night retreat, we’ll be staying at Villas Jacquelina, a charming treehouse-style boutique hotel nestled in the jungle of Quepos, Costa Rica. Loved for its lush views, vibrant communal spaces, and relaxed, welcoming atmosphere, it’s one of the highest-rated budget-friendly accommodations in the area.
All rooms are private and cleaned daily. When bathrooms are shared, they are typically shared with only one other participant.
Each retreat package includes a different style of accommodation. Some packages feature shared rooms designed to create a fun, community-oriented, “summer-camp” style experience. If you choose a shared room, we’ll do our best to pair you with a participant of the same sex or with friends you choose to room with.
Quepos is hot and tropical, so if you’re sensitive to heat or humidity, we strongly recommend selecting a package that includes air conditioning. For those seeking more comfort and privacy, superior or deluxe rooms are available and include air conditioning and private bathrooms.
Important to Know:
Villas Jacquelina is not a luxury resort—and that’s intentional. We’ve chosen this property because it’s special, community-driven, and affordable, allowing us to offer the retreat at a more accessible price point. If room comfort is a top priority for you, we recommend upgrading to a superior or deluxe room for the best experience.

Food is an essential part of the retreat experience, thoughtfully prepared by our talented chefs to nourish your body, support your energy, and complement the rhythm of each day. We proudly accommodate a wide range of dietary needs, including vegetarian, vegan, and other specific requirements.
Each day includes 1 small health juice shot and 2 nourishing meals. Mornings begin with a vitamin-rich, all-natural juice shot designed to curb morning hunger and provide a gentle burst of energy from fresh fruits and vegetables. After our morning activity, we return to Villas Jacquelina for a late breakfast prepared on-site.
Lunch is enjoyed later in the afternoon, either at Villas Jacquelina or at carefully selected local restaurants. When dining out, you’ll experience traditional Costa Rican cuisine featuring rice, beans, fresh salads, seasonal vegetables, and your choice of protein—such as fresh fish, chicken, beef, pork, or additional vegetables.
Meals follow a balanced daily rhythm, including an optional 12-hour fasting window between lunch and the following morning’s juice shot, supporting digestion and overall wellbeing. Our chefs focus on locally inspired dishes made with fresh fish, healthy grains, raw vegetables, and nutrient-dense ingredients. All meals can be served vegetarian or vegan.
We begin the retreat with a welcoming family-style dinner on your arrival night, setting the tone for connection and community. Every meal is prepared with intention and care, helping you feel nourished, energized, and supported throughout your retreat journey.
