I'm Esteban, an expat from California who moved to Costa Rica in 2012 and fell in love with the majestic beauty that engulfs you at each turn. I run my own treehouse-style hotel in the town of Quepos, Villas Jacquelina, and started a blog to share my experiences and to help my hotel guests get the most out of the area by providing locals insight on what to do and where to go when visiting me.
Today I run my own Pura Vida retreats, where I invite friends and followers to join me in my Pura Vida lifestyle for a week-long adventure that includes healthy food, nature excursions, exercise, and introduction to new healthy habits like stretching, meditation, and breathwork.
