• The large vehicle ferry crosses between Puntarenas and Paquera in approximately 6h. The same van boards the ferry and continues after the crossing. Your luggage stays in the locked van while you use the passenger areas; keep essentials with you. The crossing is only one part of the total journey, not the total travel time.
