Learn to surf with personalized instruction from an experienced local surf coach. Whether you've never stood on a surfboard before or you're looking to improve your technique, this private lesson is customized to your individual skill level and goals.
With one-on-one coaching, you'll receive constant feedback and encouragement while learning ocean safety, paddling techniques, wave selection, and proper surfing fundamentals. Tamarindo's gentle beach breaks make it one of Costa Rica's best places to learn to surf.

Both tours included in this package follow the same cancellation policy.
Reservations that have not yet been fully confirmed by Pura Vida Traveling are 100% refundable.
Once confirmed, cancellations are subject to a 10% cancellation fee.
Reservations become fully non-refundable 8 days before the scheduled tour date.
Cancellations made more than 8 days before the tour may receive a 90% refund.
Tours may be rescheduled without penalty if requested at least 72 hours before the scheduled tour date.
If you need to modify your itinerary after booking, our team will always do everything possible to accommodate your request based on availability.
