About this tour

Join us for contrast therapy at Villas Jacquelina Quepos. Contrast therapy, known as temperature therapy, involves alternating between hot and cold temperatures to promote various health benefits. The therapy session starts with breathwork and meditation on our rooftop terrace. Then, the therapy session continues in our sauna. The hot temperature dilates blood vessels, promoting relaxation, increasing circulation, and reducing muscle tension.  After the sauna, our therapy session continues in our two-person cold plunge. The cold temperature constricts blood vessels, reducing inflammation and numbing pain. Alternating between the two temperatures can enhance recovery, improve muscle function, and promote overall well-being.

When do we host therapy sessions? Contrast Therapy Schedule:

Wednesday 9:00 AM

Sundays @ 10:00 AM

*Therapy outside our normal schedule is possible for the full price ($30pp / minimum two guests)

How long will the contrast therapy session last?

A contrast therapy session starts with 20 minutes of breathwork, followed by access to our amenities for 30 minutes. Participants can go back and forth between hot and cold, but most will do 15-20 minutes in the hot sauna followed by 3-10 minutes in the cold plunge.

How much does it cost?

Normal Pricing:

Single-session contrast therapy (50 minutes) = $30+tax

CR National and Hotel Guest Pricing:

Single-session contrast therapy (50 minutes) = $20+tax
